This utility patches VMware to use any block device (LVM, loop, etc.) as a hard drive. It adds the functionality of vmware-bdwrapper to VMware in a tightly integrated and seamless manner with absolutely no performance penalty while allowing you to use any device path. Only "Use entire disk" is supported on VMware Server. VMware Workstation can also "Use individual partitions".
